Aaron Carter Adresses His And Lina Valentinas Breakup

After almost a year of romance, Aaron Carter and Lina Valentina put an end to their relationship and now, the singer is opening up about their breakup. Here’s what he had to say!

Earlier today, Aaron released a statement via E! News in which he says that ‘Lina and I decided to go our separate ways. I was hoping this would be the one that would last forever. We’d even talked about having kids, but we could not seem to get past our differences and the relationship turned unhealthy eventually.’

As for Valentina, she is yet to publicly address the breakup.

Their split announcement comes only a week after the woman showed Carter support during his Pop 2000 Tour concert performance in Las Vegas

She was in attendance with a little boy at the venue.

Speaking of kids, the breakup also follows Aaron’s hints on social media that she was expecting, a few months prior.

However, he was quick to clarify via E! News that ‘I am looking forward to becoming a father, but I am not expecting a child right now.’

In his breakup confirmation statement, the singer went on to say that ‘I’ve been through so much in the past few years and I am trying to learn from my mistakes. I do not have any regrets about being with Lina, and I definitely learned a lot about myself. I think that this decision was the mature thing to do. I am going to keep focusing on my music, my tour and fans. Hopefully my soulmate’s out there somewhere and I will meet her soon.’

Previously, the now-exes made their relationship public back in September.
