Keep Supporting My Borla Songs Because You All Have Borla In Your House Shatta Wale Begs Ghanaia

Ghana’s award winning dancehall musician and record producer Shatta Wale has recognized that he releases hit songs but most of his records are borla, a local term for trash.

Shatta Wale holds an unbeatable record as the only Ghanaian artiste who releases more than 200 songs in a year.

Surprisingly, his Shatta Movement fans can sing word of word all songs released, including the ones that last for only three days.

The self titled Dancehall King has finally agreed to what many have said on social media that his songs as trash.

Shatta Wale took to Twitter to confirm the obvious but called on every Ghanaian on Twitter to still promote his works.

The Ayoo hit maker begged tweeps to throw their weight behind his music even if they are borla (trash).

He indicated that it is through the support they give his ‘borla’ songs that he has amassed wealth to purchase houses and luxury cats.

“Please, Twitter if I release my songs and they are Borla kwraaa please support it ok because you know borla dierrr we all get some for house. Let’s also promote our borla. Be a proud Borlian,” he said.

Shatta sarcastically stated that supporting his borla music would make late President Kwame Nkrumah smile in his grave.

“Let’s do this for Ghana at least so Kwame Nkrumah can smile for once in his resting place.”
